Digital Project Manager for the Projects & Development Team at Sund & Bælt
Do you want to drive complex digital projects at the intersection of business, product development and software?
As a Digital Project Manager at Sund & Bælt, you will be responsible for driving technically complex development projects that support our commercial business and digital products. You will work closely with the business, development teams and external suppliers, helping to translate needs into solutions that create value for the end customer.
The role
You will be part of the Projects & Development Team, where we work with both technical implementation projects and the business development of existing IT and software solutions – including our in-house developed platforms. The projects typically centre on business and product development and require close interaction between needs, solutions and technical complexity.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving development tasks and projects from cradle to grave – from early clarification and requirements definition to testing, go-live and handover to operations. Some of the tasks relate to internal optimisation, including of an accounting nature, where an understanding of finance and accounting processes will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
As a Digital Project Manager, you will work with both the bigger picture and the details and act as the link between business, technology and suppliers. Collaboration and coordination across teams are a central part of the role.
- Gain a deep understanding of the system architecture in order to scope and prioritise development projects
- Define requirements at a detailed level and ensure a solid basis for estimation and solution design
- Review and challenge technical solution designs in dialogue with suppliers
- Lead development tasks and projects from planning through to implementation
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and ensure progress across teams
Your background
We expect that you have solid experience in leading IT and software development projects in complex organisations with many stakeholders. You have worked closely with both the business, development teams and external suppliers and thrive in the role as the link between commercial needs and technical solutions.
You are used to driving development tasks and projects from early clarification and requirements definition through to implementation, including planning, coordination and financial management. Experience with in-house developed platforms as well as supplier management and contracts is a clear advantage. Likewise, a technical understanding of technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Customer Service and SQL will be relevant in the role – but is not a requirement.
You as a person
- In the role as Digital Project Manager, we emphasise that you:
- Work in a structured way and take responsibility for progress
- Are curious about both the business, the technology and how they connect
- Thrive when collaborating with many different disciplines and stakeholders
- Communicate clearly and pragmatically – also when dealing with complex issues
- Maintain an overview in a day-to-day environment with parallel tasks and dependencies
What do we offer?
You will become part of an experienced and highly skilled team characterised by a high level of trust, short decision-making paths and the opportunity to take responsibility. You will have influence over both the content of solutions and the way we work with projects and development.
- An exciting role with large and complex digital projects
- Opportunity for independent responsibility for development projects
- A team with strong expertise in software, product and business development
- A dynamic working environment with close collaboration across teams
- Attractive employment terms, including a salary package based on qualifications, a good pension scheme, and health and dental insurance
- Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken
