IT Project Manager for the Digital Division at Sund & Bælt
Would you like to lead a technically complex project that plays a central role in developing the critical infrastructure of the future?
Sund & Bælt is looking for an IT Project Manager to take responsibility for the platform project under our strategic One Control Center program. This is a unique opportunity to influence the development and implementation of a new technological platform that will enhance efficiency and robustness in our future operations. If you are motivated by working with complex technical solutions and collaborating across the organization, this position is for you.
The Position
As an IT Project Manager, you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Digital Division at Sund & Bælt. You will work closely with colleagues from Digital, Asset Management (AM), Tolling, and other departments across Sund & Bælt's value chain, as well as with external partners and suppliers.
You will play a key role in driving the analysis phase towards procurement and subsequently lead the implementation of a technological platform from 2026 to 2030. The project is a strategic initiative aimed at unifying and optimizing operations through a single consolidated control center.
Responsibilities
- Drive the remaining analysis phase and ensure the procurement of the right platform in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Project management of the IT platform project, including planning, budget management, risk handling, and reporting.
- Ensure a successful implementation process from 2026 to 2030, focusing on quality, timing, and budget.
- Coordinate and ensure close collaboration with Asset Management (AM), Tolling, and other departments within Sund & Bælt, as well as foster strong cooperation with other project managers and the program manager.
- Manage stakeholders and ensure the project meets both business and technical requirements.
- Oversee and support the handover to operations and maintenance in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Your Background
We imagine that you have a relevant educational background in engineering, IT, or a similar field, along with experience in managing complex IT projects.
You have previous experience with analysis, procurement, and implementation of technological platforms and have worked in larger organizations, preferably with a focus on Asset Management. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMI, or similar is an advantage, as is prior experience in establishing control centers.
Your Personal Profile
You are structured, technically oriented, and results-driven, with a strong ability to maintain an overview of complex projects.
At the same time, you are an excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of navigating among many stakeholders to create common solutions. You work independently and have a flexible approach to tasks.
What We Offer
We offer an exciting position where you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of infrastructure in Denmark. You will be part of a dynamic and professionally strong work environment with dedicated colleagues and opportunities for both personal and professional development.
You will be organizationally placed within our Project Management Office (PMO) alongside other skilled project managers in the Digital Division, and your work will span both Copenhagen and Halsskov, where we are establishing our new One Control Center.
