Interface Coordinator for TEM / TRW at Sund & Bælt

Then join us and become the Interface Coordinator within the TEM and TRW Departments responsible for the electro-mechanical and railway contracts overseeing the design and build contractor’s performance. The multi-billion DKK contracts covers the systems that together will enable Femern A/S to manage efficiently and to highest quality standards in terms of operation, maintenance, safety and security of the fixed link.
The Job
You will – alongside the Contract Directors – be responsible for Interface Coordination for the full contract lifecycle, involving the electro-mechanical (TEM) and / or railway (TRW) contracts including high & low voltage power supplies, track, catenary / traction power for railways, tunnel ventilation, controls & automation systems, HVAC, lighting etc.
In cooperation with all contract areas within the Technical Division, you will play a key role in ensuring that all interfaces between contractors and stakeholders are successfully managed and that interface handover documents fulfils the expectations as required by the contracts and agreements. This includes assistance with planning and managing interfaces in a timely manner as well as resolving specific interface issues in cooperation with the contract management, design and construction teams.
Your key tasks will be:
- Responsible for the coordination and overview of Interfaces between the different Contracts, Stakeholders and third parties
- Develop and follow-up on interface protocols and agreements
- Facilitate and follow-up on Contractor’s progress of interfaces
- Coordinate actions on internal and external interfaces
- Prepare and review interface protocols
- Meeting participation / facilitate interface meetings
- Internal reporting to management
Your profile
You have a Bachelor/Master engineering degree with approximately 5 years of experience in interface management, preferably on high complexity large-scale civil or infrastructure projects with knowledge in multi-disciplined electro-mechanical and railway works. Alternatively, you may be a motivated recent graduate who is eager to learn quickly and take on significant responsibility. A good understanding of how project management controls relate to other project functions such as HSE, construction, procurement, reporting, design, contract management, etc. You can see your self in many of the points listed below:
- A good overview of processes and talent to predict upcoming challenges before they arise
- Good analytic and strategic skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver your messages clearly and unambiguously (Fluency in English both written and spoken)
- Be good at adapting to changing project requirements and priorities is crucial
- Strong focus on teamwork and collaboration to ensure effective interface management
- Able to thrive in an international environment whilst creating good relationships within the team and with internal and external stakeholders
- Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated and pro-active with good attention to detail
- Familiar with e.g. Microsoft Office, Relatics, Think Project and other project management tools
- Strong focus on teamwork and collaboration to ensure effective interface management
