Cloud Engineer/Specialist for the Digital Division in Sund & Bælt

We are looking for an Azure Engineer/Specialist to drive our cloud transformation and work on optimization, automation, security, and governance in close collaboration with a dedicated team.

The Position

As an Azure Engineer/Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and further develop the Azure platform, including monitoring, maintenance, and ongoing improvements.
  • Adapt and optimize existing Azure Landing Zones according to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and the NIS2 Cybersecurity framework.
  • Automate infrastructure and processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform.
  • Implement and maintain security tools such as Azure Defender, Conditional Access, Microsoft Sentinel, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • FinOps (PowerBI and Cost Management) and performance tuning to ensure efficient resource and budget utilization.
  • Governance and compliance via Azure Policy, Blueprints, and tagging strategies.
  • Collaborate with development teams and external partners on both existing and future projects to ensure the infrastructure adheres to established security principles.
  • Participate in the cloud transformation with a focus on innovation, scalability, and future-proof solutions.

Your Background

We expect experience in the operation and administration of Microsoft Azure, including areas such as resource management, network setup, security configuration, and cost optimization. You have worked with Infrastructure as Code and Azure security tools and have knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
